18 February 2013 | By

Have you ever had a nightmare of a stain in your carpeting you just couldn’t get out? We all have. It’s awful and it’s embarrassing. Every time you see it you get a little upset inside all over again. We’ve even had the stains that we have just given up on. We let them sit until we get an idea we KNOW will work. Today is your lucky day. Gather the following ingredients, a little energy and your stains will be no more!

This recipe is especially helpful for those whom that apartment move-out date is rapidly approaching

What You Will NeedAfter carpet stain

 Baking soda or cornstarch

 2 cups warm water

 Sponge

 Cloth

 Vacuum cleaner

What You May Want

  • Paper toweling

  • Microfiber washcloth

In a large measuring cup, fill with 2 cups of warm water. Add dishwasher soap, white vinegar, and stir.

Dip cloth in solution and blot again, removing as much of the stain as possible.

Continue working stain with sponge and cloth until stain is removed.
