Sunday Morning Breakfast Treat

This bread is so easy and makes a beautiful presentation whether you are serving it for breakfast or brunch. It has become a Christmas tradition in our home. Your guests will certainly be impressed with this delightful treat.

4 cans refrigerator biscuits (country or buttermilk)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 Tbl. cinnamon

3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar

For the cake: Combine the sugars and cinnamon together in a large zip lock bag. Cut the biscuits into quarters and drop 10-12 pieces into the bag and shake to coat. Place in a greased bundt or tube pan.

For the sauce: Melt the butter and sugars in a small saucepan. Cook until thickened. Pour sauce over the biscuits and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Adjust baking time for high altitude. Turn onto serving dish, cut and serve.

Note: You can cut and coat biscuits night before. I like to dip my biscuits in melted butter before placing in bag. Allows for a better coating.
