White Chicken Chili

Warm up with this Creamy Chicken White Chili Recipe

This is a wonderful recipe that is easy and quick and guaranteed to always be a hit.  This Chicken White Chili will warm you right up and will be your own personal prize winner every time.







1 pound skinless boneless chicken breasts cut into bite size cubes

1 medium onion, chopped

1 1/2 tsp garlic powder

2 cans 16 oz white beans drained and rinsed

1 14 oz can chicken broth

2 4 oz. cans chipped green chilies

1 tsp salt

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp ground oregano

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

1 Tablespoon Oil

8 oz. container sour cream

1/2 cup heavy cream


In a large saucepan add the  oil. Saute the chicken, onion and garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink.  Add beans, broth, chilies and seasonings.  Bring to a boil.  Lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes.  Stir in sour cream and heavy cream.  Serve with a side of Corn Bread or Garlic Bread.

Note:  I like to sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese, a little salsa and chopped green onions on top.
