Mason Jar Luminaries

Planning an outdoor event such as a wedding, shower, or a holiday celebration these mason jar luminaries are sure to light up the party.  They are very easy to assemble and look great.

Mason Jars (number depends on how many you want)

Lace fabric (your color choice)

Twine or coordinating ribbon

Spray Glue

Candle Tea Lights or Battery Operated

Cut enough lace to go around the mason jars. Spray glue one side of the jar and begin attaching lace.  Keep spraying and attaching until the ends are met.  Press the edges firmly in place.  Cut a strip of burlap to wrap the top of jar. Spray the rim with adhesive and press burlap in place.  Cut the twine or ribbon long enough to wrap the rim and make a bow.  Add tea lights and let the party begin.

Note:  For Halloween I suggest you make one in black lace and one in orange lace.  Christmas red and green or all red with green ties.  These would even be fun Baby Shower decorations.  You can fill the jar with small baby accessories for the expectant mother instead of using a tea light for a day shower.
