A delightful breakfast treat you can make in less than 30 minutes.  I have made this recipe numerous times because it is so easy.  My family loves them and I usually have the simple  ingredients on hand.  You can have  these  yummy little delights ready in no time and the kids will love  the doughnut holes.

1 Pkg. large refrigerated Pillsbury biscuits ( 8 count)

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

3/4 cup vegetable oil

Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.  Place biscuits on a cutting board.  Using a 1 inch round tool (I use the liquid measuring cups that come with your liquid vitamins or something similar. These are perfect size) Punch the middle of the biscuits with this small cup and remove from the center.  Set aside for the “Holes”.

Test the heat of the oil by dipping the edge of a doughnut in the pan.  When the oil is  hot enough, the edge will bubble.  Drop the dough nuts into oil and cook until golden brown. Turning after 1-2 minutes per side.  Transfer to a paper towel .  Continue cooking dough and small holes until done.

In a large bowl, combine the cinnamon and sugar.  Toll the warm doughnuts in this mixture until coated. Serve

Note:  You can double this recipe as needed.  You may have to add more oil.  You may also coat the doughnuts with a glaze of your liking.  I suggest doubling recipe, these yummy treats will go fast.
