Natural Homemade Plant Insecticide

sprayIf you want to get rid of the pests that plague your vegetable garden but don’t want to use any chemical-based insecticides, this natural homemade plant insecticide “recipe” is the perfect solution for you.┬áIt’s cheap, easy, and completely natural!

Here’s what you’ll need:

-1 head of garlic
-1 tbsp. red pepper flakes
-3 cups water
-1/2 tsp. eco-friendly liquid dishwashing soap

Toss the garlic, red pepper flakes, and a cup of water in your food processor, and process until it forms a paste. Strain the mixture to remove the larger chunks.

Next, combine two tablespoons of the resulting mixture with 1/2 teaspoon of liquid dishwashing soap and two cups water.

Pour into a spray bottle and mix well.
