cranberry-champagneIf you’re hosting a New Year’s Eve party and you’re planning to serve champagne to your guests, you may want to consider this drink idea to put a fun, yummy spin to your midnight toast. Champagne is already pretty amazing on its own (you’re tasting the stars, after all), but the added tartness from the cranberry sorbet should definitely make it more interesting.

Here’s what you’ll need:

-1 cup cranberry sorbet
-1 bottle champagne or sparkling white wine

Place a few scoops of the sorbet in a champagne flute, then slowly pour in your champagne. Let the fizz bubble off before adding more.

Serve immediately.

*Makes 3 to 4 servings
