watercolor coffee mugAre you looking for a cheap, easy DIY gift? Or maybe you just really love doing DIY projects? Try this amazing–and super easy–watercolor coffee mug tutorial!

I’m telling you, it’s soooo easy!

Here’s what you’ll need:

-a cheap ceramic coffee mug
-any color nail polish
-toothpick
-a rectangular plastic container (make sure it is big enough and deep enough to fit your mug)

Fill your plastic container with lukewarm water. Next, take your nail polish and pour a few drops into the water. If you want to make a more colorful design, you can use different colored nail polishes.

Then, take your toothpick and swirl the nail polish around to create a nice, swirly watercolor design.

And finally, dunk the mug halfway into the water for one or two seconds. The nail polish will immediately stick to the surface of the mug.

Place on top of a paper towel and allow to dry for 2-3 hours.

And you’re done!
