Homemade “Nutella” Chocolate Spread

chocolate spreadHere’s a healthier version of your favorite Nutella spread–made with cashews!

-450g unsalted cashew nuts
-60 grams icing sugar
-25 grams cocoa powder
-pinch of sea salt
-5 tablespoons vegetable oil
-2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Process the cashew nuts and oil in a food processor or high-speed blender until you get a smooth texture. You may need to mix it a few times with a spoon in between pulses to get it even.

Next, add the rest of your ingredients into the processor or blender and process until combined.

Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to a month.
