Homemade Stain Remover

stainYou don’t need harsh chemicals to get those stubborn stains out ¬†of your clothes–you can just make your own stain remover with some simple household materials!

And it’s cheaper, too!

Here’s what you’ll need:

-1/2 cup Dawn dishwashing liquid soap
-1 cup hydrogen peroxide
-1-2 tablespoons baking soda
-opaque, airtight container

Mix all three ingredients in your chosen container. Make sure to choose an opaque container and keep away from sunlight.

To use, apply the mixture with a small brush (such as a toothbrush) on the stained area. Rinse, then wash as you normally would. However, if you’re dealing with a particularly stubborn stain, allow your homemade stain remover to sit on the area for about an hour or more before rinsing.
