chocolate covered peeps rice krispies treatsEaster just isn’t┬áthe same without Peeps. But if you want to kick your Peep game up a notch, these Chocolate-Covered Peeps Rice Krispies Treats are just the thing.

Here’s what you’ll need:

-Rice Krispies Treats bars
-chocolate chunks or chocolate chips (white, dark, or milk chocolate)
-popsicle sticks (optional)

First, carefully cut your Peeps in half with a sharp knife. Set aside, then melt your chocolate chunks or chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in your microwave, or use a double boiler. If you don’t have one, take a deep saucepan and simmer water on top of a stove, then place a bowl on top of (make sure the bottom of the bowl doesn’t actually touch the water) and melt your chocolate in the bowl.

Spoon some melted chocolate on a Rice Krispies bar, place your halved Peep on top of the chocolate, and add some sprinkles. Place in the fridge to allow the chocolate to harden.

Add popsicle sticks to turn them into Chocolate-Covered Peeps Rice Krispies Treats Pops.
