Vegan Shamrock Shake

vegan shamrock shakeIf you are looking for a healthy, vegan version of McDonald’s famous Shamrock Shake to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with, this recipe is exactly what you need!

It’s creamy, minty, tasty, and absolutely good for you.

Here’s what you’ll need:

-2/3 cup cashew milk (or any other vegan milk of choice)
-1/2 frozen banana
-1/4 frozen avocado
-a handful of spinach
-5-6 mint leaves
-1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
-2 teaspoons maple syrup
-ice cubes (optional)

Throw all the ingredients in a blender, starting with the milk. Adding the liquid first helps everything blend well together.

Once you have a gorgeous green milkshake, check if the consistency is to your liking. If not, add a few ice cubes to thicken it up, or extra milk to make it a little more runny!

Enjoy with some vegan whipped cream on top–and maybe a few chocolate chips!
