Ever wonder what YOU can DO to help educated our children about other children with special needs?

Bullying is a serious issue in today’s society, and, with the rise of mental illness affecting our youth, it vitally important to make sure our kids are fully informed.

One way to help spread awareness is by listening and learning from parents of children with special needs. And reality star Gwen Boyd-Moss is doing just that by giving back to other parents in a new book series called “My Special Friends” which she says “[helps teach] children about other children that have mental illness.”

The Selling It In The ATL star, whose oldest son was diagnosed with autism at age of three and schizophrenia at age 14, teaches parents how to educate their children on the topic, while putting an emphasis on the importance of doing so.
